The troubles for Samsung doesn’t seem to be going away any time soon. As if it hasn’t already been maligned enough for its faulty Note 7, the South Korean giant is in hot waters again, this time it is their flagship Galaxy S9, and S9 Plus, which are launched just few weeks back.

The Galaxy S9, and S9 Plus are facing display defects, which have been reported in various Reddit posts by users. The problem affects random portions of the screen which are called as “Dead-Zones”. These dead-zones don’t register taps, or swipes, causing problems, and frustration for users to use the devices.

Samsung has officially accepted the post and have taken below stance (Via Engadget)

“At Samsung, customer satisfaction is core to our business and we aim to deliver the best possible experience. We are looking into a limited number of reports of Galaxy S9/S9+ touchscreen responsiveness issues. We are working with affected customers and investigating.

We encourage any customer with questions to contact us directly at 1-800-SAMSUNG.”

Well, only time will tell if this is going to be another Note 7 story for Samsung (the company lost billions for faulty Note & batteries previously). We are hoping that the company will be able to fix issue quickly without things getting out of hand.

Priceworms.com will be updating you with the latest from the story as things unveil.
