Besides its exquisite high-end smartphones that pack powerful features, Xiaomi is also known for rapid MIUI developments. The company often release MIUI updates to keep its users engaged with the latest features and aesthetically pleasing interface.

In a recent update, the company’s CEO, Lei Jun, has confirmed the release of the latest Xiaomi’s MIUI version before the end of this year.

As of yet, there has been no confirmed timeframe given by the company for MIUI 13 launch; however, rumors have in that the new update may be released before the year-end. The new MIUI 13 is believed to offer a more interactive interface with engaging features and functionalities.

Also, as per reports, the new MIUI 13 will be updated for some of the existing smartphones from the company, including; Mi Mix 4, Mi 11 Lite, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 10S, K40 Pro, Redmi K40, and some others.

Apart from the above-mentioned devices, the MIUI 13 will be updated for other smartphone devices from the company sometime in 2022.

Digital Chat Station – a famous Chinese tipster, was able to leak some of the early snaps of the MIUI 13 skins, which shows some significant changes in overall UI/X, interface, and an extensive visual overhaul. A major update rumored for MIUI 13 includes the memory fusion technology, which will essentially allow smartphones to use a specific portion of the storage as RAM. This will result in higher device performance, especially with respect to multitasking.

To sum it up, the latest MIUI 13 update will offer Xiaomi users (Redmi, Poco, Mi, and others) to have a supplementary 3GB of RAM on top of the actual RAM in the device. This will be a notable boost for the seamless performance of the device, making it compete with some of the best flagship devices in the market.
